Digital Media Buyer - Full time (Remote) - Toronto

The Google Ads Specialist plays a pivotal role in achieving business goals through strategic planning and execution of digital advertising campaigns on platforms like Google Search, YouTube, Performance Max & Google Display.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist the Digital Strategy Manager in planning, implementing, and managing Google ads campaigns

  • Evaluate and optimize campaigns based on specific goals to maximize return on investment (ROI).

  • Execute bid and budget optimizations aligned with weekly budgets

  • Develop, upload, and initiate new campaigns/ads for Google Adwords. Ensure adherence to quality guidelines.

  • Perform keyword research, oversee bid and budget management to maximize ROI, and remain updated on industry trends and best practices for enhanced SEO and increased web traffic.

  • Segment target audiences, determine conversion values, and establish conversion actions and attribution methods.

  • Monitor campaign performance and consistently refine them using data-driven insights gained from various marketing platforms.

  • Upload Customer List, Custom Audiences on Google Adwords

  • Build and maintain systems and protocols that ensure all content is optimized

  • Assist in maintaining detailed content health analytics reporting dashboards

Education and Experience Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Computer Science, or equivalent.

  • 2-3 years experience in paid advertising, Marketing, eCommerce, or equivalent field.

 

Mandatory Skills – a must-have to be eligible for this role:

  • Working knowledge and experience of Google Adwords (Google Search, YouTube, Performance Max & Display Campaign Set up & Implementation)

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Operates with discipline: Relentless attention to detail and strong project management skills. Recognizes potential issues and problems, knows when to escalate, and proposes solutions, where possible.

  • Keen eye on daily & weekly spends

  • Takes clear ownership of assigned tasks

Nice to Have:

  • Bilingual is a bonus

  • Experience in Paid Social Ads Platform (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, LinkedIn etc)

  • Experience in Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager

  • Certifications in Meta Blueprint, Google Ads or Google Analytics

 Working Hours: 9-5 EST - ideally located in Toronto but if outside (ie Montreal), then needs to be bilingual
